Greetings from Pullman, WA!
Thank you for learning more about School of Chemical Engineering
and BioEngineering at WSU.
Research
Microbial biofilms are the primary
focus of our research group. Specific research topics include:
measuring biofilm parameters with microsensors, microbial fuel cells,
electron transfer mechanisms, and bioremediation.
Common research interests are persued
by this group of Engineering faculty, including Nehal I.
Abu-Lail (Chemical Engineering
& BioEngineering) , Jefferey L.
Ullman (Biological
Systems Engineering),
Jeremy A. Rentz (Civil &
Environmental Engineering) and myself. Collaborative research
projects
incorporate microbial biofilms, bacterial adhesion, emerging
contaminants, and
environmental microbiology.
